The University Teachers Association (UTAG) says the member are not calling off the strike, despite court orders.

The Secretary to the Association, Professor Ransford Gyampo announced their defiance against the court orders on his Facebook wall this evening.

He earlier posted that “No politician can call of the UTAG strike. No sponsored propagandistic made media reportage can pressurised anyone. Only members can rescind their decision after they are convinced. If they do, they will communicate.”

By this decision, he has urged students to wake up and sleep again because the leacture halls will remain closed until further notice
