Joseph Yamin, one-time deputy Minister for Sport, Youth and Culture, has been named among what should be the National Democratic Congress (NDC) National Executives 2024 winning team.

The supposed winning team are Elvis Afriyie Ankorah as General Secretary, either Alhaji Hudu Yahaya and Alhaji Said Sinare is the National Chairman, Joseph Yamin, National Organiser, Sammy Gyamfi, Communication Director, Brogya Gyamfi, National Youth Organiser and Hannah Bissiw, National Women’s Organiser.  

However, the controversial Apostle Kwabena Owusu Adjei who made this revelation, reserved the flagbearship position for Mr Lesli Mensah Tamakloe, as the one chosen by Almighty God himself to lead the social democrat party to gain victory in 2024.

According to him, if the NDC delegates are adamant and do away with these careful selected team by God himself and present John Dramani Mahama and Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang again, they should have themselves blamed.

He said the NDC lost the 2020 election because Mr Mahama chose Prof Naana Opoku Agyemang instead Mr Tamakloe.

He said the NDC needed a new face to stir the affairs of the party to win the 2024 presidential election while the likes of the current General Secretary, Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia, Chairman Ofuso Ampofo and others joined the Council of Elders.   

Apostle Adjei said this to the media while marking the June Fourth Celebration yesterday in Accra.
