The Police Administration has organised a send-off ceremony to bid four Commissioners of Police farewell as they proceed on compulsory retirement upon attaining age 60 as mandate by the Constitution.

A short ceremony was held in their honour at the Police Headquarters in Accra on Tuesday, June 3, 2020.

The Inspector General of Police (IGP) James Oppong,-Boanuh decorated the four – Mr Prosper Agblor, Mr David Nennyi Ampah-Bennin, Mr Alex Amponsah-Asiamah and Mr Simon Yaw Afeku- with Distinguish Service Medals.

IGP Oppong-Boanuh sang the praise of the four for their selfless service to the country and presented plagued to them on behalf on the Police Management Board.

He said the Police Administration will forever be grateful and remember them as they journey to the next stage of their life.
