The Yape-Kusawgu in the Savannah region New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate (PC), Abu Kamara has been reported dead in a vehicular crash.

According to eyewitness, the incident happened on Friday night when Mr Kamara was traveling back to Tamale from a campaign tour. 

Although the police are yet to confirm the incident, eyewitness account says Mr Kamara’s vehicle had a head on collusion with an articulator truck and, as a result he died on the spot.

With the general elections just some few months away, Mr Kamara’s death brings to the number of PCs, for ruling NPP and opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to have died within this October to three.
