I don’t want to talk anymore – Duncun Williams
Spread the love

For those looking forward to hear from the Archbishop Duncan Williams of Action Chapel International (ACI) concerning recent happenings in the country, may perhaps have to dream again, as he says: “Sometimes you will get to a point where you just do not want to talk anymore, because it puts stress on you when you open your mouth.”

His reason was that there are times, one pays a price for the stance he or she takes in life, adding “if you do the right thing you will be subjected to all kinds of controversy.”

One thing that struck the Archbishop more is that the Ghanaian society is good at hearsay and by that it creates stress and persecution against persons targeted at.

Archbishop Duncan Williams preaching a sermon dubbed “The test of love” at first service on Sunday, December 13, 2020, told the congregation that the country is in a difficult time and everything that people love is been put to test.

He said this test would be the love for the country, family, one another, God and the church.

Pointing to the time in which the country is in, he said: “Whatever you love is being tested. This is not the time for words, we are in an exams mode. Whether we rise up on the right side of history or wrong side of history has everything to do with what and how we handle this season of our lives.”

According to him, the time that the country found itself puts everyone to a test to see whether the people can pass it or not.

Although the Archbishop reiterates: “The times we are living in demands we demonstrate what we love. Whether consciously or unconsciously we are being tested. …Because your love and mine is being put to the test and there is no way out, no middle ground. You either pass the test or fail the test.”

He said from 20, 30 to 50 years from now, history will judge all per their performance.

The founder of ACI was calling for love because there may be lawlessness, breakdown of order, morality, truth, godly principles, consciousness, value and ethics, stressing “justice will become injustice and injustice will become justice. It is because of the state of lawlessness and chaos.”
