Nearly seven months after the 2020 Presidential and Parliamentary Elections, heated debate had already started with, which political party is likely to win power in 2024.

The debate is also centered on, which candidates will be suitable for the dominating political parties, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to win power and the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) to retained power.

Joining the conversation is the founder of the Hezekiah Prayer Ministry, Apostle Kwabena Owusu Adjei who has urged the NDC not to repeat former President John Dramani Mahama and Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang for the 2024, as their presidential and running mate.

Addressing a press conference under the name “The B.I.G. Project Movement” to earmark the June 4^th annual celebrations yesterday in Accra, the Apostle noted that it would be next to impossible for John and Jane to win the 2024 election.

The Apostle at B.I.G (Believe in Ghana) Movement prophetic press conference dubbed “What the NDC must know before 2024 to pursue, overtake and recover all” warned that the NDC should be on the run if the incumbent, NPP, decided to presents Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and Alan John Kwakwo Kyerematen or Alan Cash, for the 2024 election slot while the NDC still hold on to John and Jane.

He said although Alan Cash has eyed the presidential seat for a longtime, the likelihood of him becoming Dr Bawumia’s running mate is high because he already have a spirit of compromise.

The controversial man of God said Mr Mahama defeated is connected to the error he committed for settling on Prof Naana Opoku-Aygemang, as his running mate instead of Leslie Mensah Tamakloe.

According to him, it would have been a down deal for the NDC if they had chosen Mr Tamakloe as the running mate.

He said God’s plans for the NDC was that after Mr Mahama ends his presidential term in 2024, Mr Tamakloe will be the next in line, by which the party would have broken the cycle of two term governance.

Apostle Agyei added that since Mr Mahama had lost that opportunity he must throw his weight behind Mr Tamakloe in a popular acclamation, since that is the only way the NDC will see victory again.  

He described Mr Tamakloe as Economic Messiah who if given the opportunity will choose an Akan running mate from either the Ashanti region or former Bong Ahafo region.     

All things being equal, Mr Tamakloe and his running mate will face off with Dr. Bawumia an astute Economist, a lecturer and a Banker and Alan, an astute Economist, a Lawyer Specialist in Global trade issues, a Corporate Executive, a Diplomat, and a UN Policy Advisor.

Mr Tamakloe is an accomplished entrepreneur and consultant in the Information Communication Tecnology (ICT), Energy and National Infrastructure Development in Ghana and outside.

The Apostle further urged the NDC to use Elvis Afriyie Ankorah as General Secretary, either Alhaji Hudu Yahaya and Alhaji Said Sinare as the National Chairman, Joseph Yamin, National Organiser, Sammy Gyamfi, Communication Director, Brogya Gyamfi, National Youth Organiser and Hannah Bissiw, National Women’s Organiser as their winning team.
