Despite the controversies, the Electoral Commission (EC) has finally settled on a date to start mass registration of the voters across the country.

In a communique addressed to the General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) dated June 8, 2020, and posted on social media by some of the ruling party faithfuls, stated the registration is due to commence ending of this month 30^th. .

The communique as signed by the Deputy Chairman for Corporate Services, Dr Bossman E. Asare, states: “This letter comes to inform you that the 2020 Voters Registration Exercise has been scheduled to commence on Tuesday, the 30^th of June, 2020. The registration will be held at all Registration Centres and Disricts offices of the Electoral Commission throughout the country.”
