A reason, after she was discharged from the Centre, she made it a point to donate to the National Reconstructive Plastic Surgery and Burns Centre on her birthday, every year.
The team donated to children, female, male and Recovery care wards.
The items included snacks, toiletries, fruits among many others.
The team used the opportunity to call on all and sundry to join them to put smiles on the faces of the patients at the unit.
The Public Relations Officer of the Reconstructive Plastic Surgery and Burns Centre, Maame Esi Essiful Ansah, who received the items on behalf of the ward, advised individuals to abstain from activities that cause fire explosion, as these accidents generate a lot of problems for the victims and country as a whole.
“Despite the pain victims of burns go through, it is also very expensive treating them, as most of them also lose their identity due to the severe nature of the accident,” Maame Esi Essiful Ansah concluded.
