Agradaa shares non-consensual intimate image – court told

Patricia Asieduwaa alias Agradaa, aged 40 years and a pastores, has been charged with non-consenual sharing of intimate image of a prophet.

However, the fetish priestess cum evangelist said she is innocent to the charges brought up against her.

But the state has dragged her together with four others – Enock Owusu Kissi, 33, Charlies Omane aka One Gig, 39, Emmanuel Kofi Gyasi, 47, and Andy, currently at large – on a different charge of abetment of crime, namely non-consenual sharing of intimate image.

Patricia, Enock and Charles were arraigned before an Accra Circuit Court presided over by Evelyn Asamoah on the aforementioned offences but they all pleaded not guilty.

Unfortunately, the fourth accused couldn’t attend court on the account by his counsel that the invitation got to him later and has sent his brother to represent him, as his commitment to face trial.

They were granted bail in the sum of GH¢100,000.00 with three sureties who are family members each.

The facts of the case
According to the prosecution led by Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Emmanuel Haligah, the complainant in the case is a Prophet and resides at Teshie.

He added that the first accused (A1) in the case is Patricia Asieduwaa, Pastores and resides at Weija while Enoch Owusu Kissi (A2) is a media practitioner and stays at Weija, Charles Omane aka One Gig (A3), a businessman residing at Nungua, and Emmanuel Kofi Gyasi, a Television (TV) Presenter, a resident of Nungua and one Andy who is at large.

ASP Haligah narrated to the court that sometime in 2020, A1 who was the owner of a TV station called “Thunder TV’ hosted a programme on the said TV station and intentionally showed the naked pictures of the complainant on live TV and made mockery of him with all the other accused persons who were panelist on the said programme encouraging her on the course.

The said programme was also streamed live on Youtube and Facebook where a witness in this case saw it and informed the complainant about it.

A1 also intentionally distributed the intimate images of the complainant to a witness in this case via WhatsApp.

The complainant reported the matter to Police for assistance and during investigation, all the accused persons with the exception of A5 were arrested for investigation.

Police retrieved the intimate images of the complainant, which were shared or distributed by the first accused and in the course of investigation, the programme on which the intimate images were shown was retrieved by Police and played back to all the accused persons who identified themselves in the video of the programme hosted by Patricia.

He said after investigation, the accused persons were charged with the offences and arraigned before the court.
