You may be buying land from imposters – Nungua chief warn
Prof. Nii Oboade Notse Odaifio Welentsi III, Vice-President of the Greater Accra House of Chiefs and Overlord of Nungua Traditional Area, is warning the public that they are likely to encounter imposters in a land at Nungua.
It has come to his notice that some known and unknown faces are forging his signature as well as the seal of the Traditional Council to sell lands to unsuspecting members of the public.
According to him, this phenomenon has been going on for years now and it has caused individuals to lose their lifetime savings to these fraudsters.
Recently, it came to the Professor, who is also a chief, notice that this fraudulent sale of land had caused a buyer to lose a fortune in a region of GH¢700,000.00 to the imposters.
Although the matter has been reported to the Accra Regional Police Command for action, the Paramount Chief wants members of the public to also to beware of these people.
In a telephone interview, he said the importers often forge his signature as well as seal to deceive their victims, and this incident is posing lots of challenges to the Traditional Council.

The Chief reiterated that while the Nungua Traditional Council is working closely with the police to arrest these individuals and prosecute them, the public must remain vigilant.
The site has gathered that one Felix Alabi Borwngmai has been arrested in connection with the fraudulent sale of land at Nungua and currently under investigation.
The site, anyazia.com has sighted a document purported to have been forged by Felix Alarbi Borwngmai, Laryea a.k.a stone, now deceased, and others still in their hideout.
King Adu Francis, Chief Executive Officer of FA Global Company, has also lodged a similar complaint with the Accra Regional Police Command.
