A pressure group by the name of Citizen Eye Ghana says the likes of the Minister for Food and Agriculture (MOFA), Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto, and the Chief of Staff, Frema Opare, must not be given political appointments, as it is a waste of the country’s time and scarce resources.

According to the group led by Mr. Kwaku Tetteh, when old people are retained or appointed to positions at a time they should be on retirement, development shows down, and the youth becomes jobless, hopeless, and destitute.

He reiterated that old men and women occupying positions in the country are threats to youth job security.
