Mba Zakaria, opposition National Democratic Congress NDC (NDC) parliamentary candidate for Atwima Nwabiagya North Constituency in the Ashanti Region, calls for unity post- internal party elections.

According to him, unity is needed in all constituencies across the country to win the 2024 general elections.

He said in every contest there can be only one winner, hence losing an internal election is not an end by itself to warrant any form of disunity among the competitors.

Mr. Zakaria made the passionate appeal at Akropong, last Saturday 30th December, 2023, after a unity walk organised to mobilise support for the NDC at the Atwima Nwabiagya North constituency.

Addressing the participants, Mr. Mba called on former parliamentary aspirants and candidates across the country to welcome the idea of joining their forces together to enable the NDC to win the 2024 general elections.

The parliamentary candidate, particularly urged aspirants who contested with him during the primaries to also assured the party of their commitment and go out and campaign for the NDC.

Mba Zakaria is a youth activist and transport owner who is working assiduously to win the Atwima Nwabiagya North parliamentary seat for the NDC.

As a first timer and if successful, he will be for the first ever NDC candidate to make history by winning the seat from the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The programme was to foster unity the members and improve their physical body.
