Rosemond Brown aka Akuapem Poloo alias “the queen of twerking” has received a stern warning in court today to be serious in the conduct of her trial.

The Accra Circuit Court presided over by Her Honour Christina Cann urged Rosemond who have also touted herself as “drama queen” to be serious because the court was not joking with the case before it.

The warning was in connection with application filed by Akuapeam Poloo through her lawyers praying the court that the case should be adjourned to May, 2021.

The application invited Her Honour to made it as clear as crystal to Akuapem Poloo to”be serious. We are not joking here. Tell your lawyer.”

The case was then adjourned to April 6 for Case Management Conference (CMC).

Akuapem Poloo came into contact with the lawyer after posting alleged obscene photos of herself squatting and holding the hand of her son.

The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection (MGCP) issued press statement to condemn the alleged photograph.

The Ministry in the statement highly condemned the act and described it as indecent exposure of the child, an act of pornography, degrading and also against the Children’s Act, 1998 (Act 560) and the Criminal and Other Offences Act, (Act 30).

Akuapem Poloo is being tried for publishing obscene material and engaging domestic violence.
