School feeding @ Whim Anglican Primary ‘nasty’

A video making rounds on social media depicted poor food allegedly to be served to pupils of Whim Anglican Primary School under the Ghana School Feeding Programme (GSFP).

In the alleged video, persons believed to be teachers or officers of the school displayed what was like peanut butter soup in a blue bucket that would be served with supposed rice balls.

The supposed peanut butter soup concentration was very watery with oil suspended on top and some particles settled at the bottom, and what was supposed to be rice balls was poorly prepared.

It was said the pupils had refused to eat what was supposed to be one hot meal a day to enable the learners to stay in school as well as improve their nutrition levels.

Meanwhile, attempts to compel the caterer to prepare hygienic, nutritious, and delicious food for the pupils have fallen on deaf ears.
