NOTORIOUS ARMED ROBBER AND ACCOMPLIES ARRESTED
- A notorious armed robber, Mohammad Buzu aged 29 has been arrested from his hideout at Kwame Nkrumah Circle by Accra Regional CID Officers
- Suspect Buzu has been arrested In connection with breaking into the residence of the IMF country Director, stealing from the residence of the Ambassador of Kuwait to Ghana and also from the residence of a Lebanese businessman in Ghana.
- Police have retrieved assorted visa cards; wrist watches; mobile phones; bag packs; a diplomatic card issued by the government of Ghana and drivers license Issued in Virginia, USA both bearing the name of the wife of one of the victims; passport size photographs of white male and female adults and many more from suspect’s place of abode at Dansoman in Accra.
- Two of Mohammed Buzu’s accomplices, Kenneth Anth and Baffour Adjei Gyimah, have also been arrested. Suspect Kenneth Antw: IS a receiver and sponsor for Buzu’s robbery escapade while suspect Baffour Adjei Gyimah is a receiver.
- All three suspects have today 24th February, 2020 been remanded into Police custody by the Circuit Court Accra, presided by H/H Mrs. Rosemary Baah Torsu.
- Suspects Mohammed Buzu, Kenneth Antwi and Baffour Adjei Gyimah are believed to be connected to other crimes committed at residences at Cantonments and North Rigde, both at Accra and other similar areas. Their pictures have therefore been published for victims of cnmes Involving these suspects to identify them and provide Information to the Police.
