The MTN Ghana has sponsored the 17th edition 2024 of the Success Africa Summit organised by the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

The mentorship training summit was held at the auditorium of the College of Engineering of KNUST on Saturday, 10th February 2024, with focus to train and equip young people with digital skills, inspire them to get better in their professional fields.

The summit offers opportunity to connect accomplished CEOs and Directors with students to share their experiences with them as well as inspire them to attain greater heights.

The officials of MTN used the occasion to empower participants by enlightening them on some of their digital platforms, products and services and also created awareness on momo fraud and how to avoid falling victim.

Mr Samuel Nana Andoh, Territory Sales Controller at MTN in his presentation and a facilitator, disclosed some of the customer friendly products of MTN, which includes My MTN app, MTN Pick and Pay Latter, A programme which allows qualified customers to chose devices like phones and tablets and pay over a period of 16-12 months through MTN mobile money (Momo).

He indicated that MTN Ayoba is an all-in-one app that offers free instant messages, voice and video calling, games, music, news, entertainment, sports among others.

Mr. Albert Kusi, Executive Director for the Summit explained that, the Programme has been running for 16 years now, and since the beginning in 2008 it has been able to move across all universities in the country and some parts of Africa, the impacted he said is close to over 250,000 lives.

He disclosed that, for this year 2024 alone, the organisers targeted running the summit in fifteen (15) universities in Ghana.
