MTN New CEO pay courtesy call on Otumfuo
Stephen Blewett, the New Chief Executive Officer (CEO) MTN Ghana the giant telecommunication network in the country and management pay a courtesy call on Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene to formerly introduce himself to the Ashanti King.
According to him, as the new CEO of the MTN it is a privilege and important to visit the respected Ashanti King to listen to what he has for him through his good counsel and what the Asantehene also want from him in his line of duty.
The new CEO Re-affirmed that, they at MTN are supportive and would continue to be supportive for Ashanti and improve their network.
He disclosed that, already he visited MTN stores and customers in the region and for that matter, heard the good things and bad things that people are not happy about, and would work on the network to ensure that people get the best and quality everywhere.
He reiterated that, every Ghanaian deserves the benefits of good network and would continue to work on the network Challenges.Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene on his part urged the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the management to invest in the people of Ashanti and Ghana as a whole through digital skills training.
He noted that, it’s prudent to invest in the country and urged him to continue supporting what he Otumfuo is doing.
Madam Adwoa Afriyie Wiafe, Chief Corporate Services and Sustainability Officer, also disclosed that, it’s important and opportunity for MTN to formerly introduce their new Boss to the Asantehene since he assumed office in April this year.
She said the MTN is determined to work with the residents of Ashanti and the country as a whole as stakeholders and partners, hence MTN is always support SMEs through Ashantifest and also investing in Digital Training, sensitizing their customers and the public on how to protect themselves from Momo fraud.
She revealed that, in July this year would be SMEs month, targeting Small, Micro and medium Businesses to help them how to use digital and Technologies to improve their businesses.
