Minority Caucus investigates Serwaa Broni’s ‘staged robbery’
The minority side of Parliament has threatened to launch investigation into the purported staged robbery of Evelyn Adu also known as Evelyn Serwaa Broni by the state.
The minority caucus in a statement issued today and posted same post on Facebook by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Communications Director, Sammy Gyamfi, said it has become aware of very scandalous allegations contained in an interview by the host of With All Due Respect Ekow Kevin Taylor to Madam Evelyn Serwaa Broni on Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022.
According to the statement, which is under the name the authority of Minority Leader Parliament of Ghana, Haruna Iddrisu if the allegations are proven to be true, it arises grave charges of abuse of office, human right violations and conduct, which bring the high office of President of Ghana into disrepute.
“The NDC Caucus has consequently requested and obtained a copy of the full interview in issue for further study, transcription and legal analysis.
The caucus will very soon convey to Ghanaians the actions to be taken on the basis of the outcome of the ongoing legal analysis of the matter,” it said.
It further added that the caucus remains committed to holding public officers accountable to the high standards set by our constitution.

Madam Evelyn Serwaa Broni has accused President Akufo-Addo for using State apparatus to staged robbery on the Ada-Aflao road after having published a photograph of herself in a Presidential jet on Facebook that same had images of the Commander in Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces and government officials.
Madame Evelyn stated in a live video on Facebook somewhere last year that she had an intimate relationship with the president.
Following this live video came explicit pictures purported to be President Akufo-Addo.
The lady in question also added that she has published the said videos on a private YouTube account, which the President has been a coded password to enable only Evelyn and Akufo-Addo to have access to the content.
Serwaa Broni alleged that it is this same reason that her life is being hunted, the President has threatened he will not allow anyone to ruin his hard earned political reputation.
Serwaa Broni, a Ghanaian naturalised in Canada, added that although she was compelled to delete the photo posted on social media, she has been under constant pursuit by the government.
