I’ve forgiven My transgressors – Ken Yeboah

The outgoing Director of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service, Commissioner of Police (COP) Isaac Ken Yeboah says he has forgiven all those who had offended him in one way or another.

While reflecting one his retirement from active service, he equally requested from those whom he has per chance offended to reciprocate his act of forgiveness.

At an emotional ceremony organised by the Police Service to bid the the CID boss farewell in Accra today, the now retiree said everything he has learnt on the job as a police officer has shaped his life and it has become an experience that he will lived on for the rest of his days.

But one thing he was grateful for during his service was the confidence instilled in by the past and current Inspector General of Police (IGP) to appoint and maintain him in the position as the CID boss till his retirement, despite the odds.

COP Ken Yeboah (Rtd) had served in the police service in various capacities for 30 years. Some of these areas include Director General Administration, Technical, Legal and Prosecution, and Research and Planning.

His earlier potifolio were deputy Director General Legal and prosecution,  Regional Commander for Northern and Ashanti, Chief of Staff to the IGP, Deputy Chief of Staff Officer to the IGP, and the Commandant of the Detective Training Academy as well as the Head of Commercial Crime Unit.

He had his educational qualifications from Kwame Nkrumah University of Technology (KNUST), University of Ghana, and Ghana School of Law.

He also has certificate awarded from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) National Academy, Police Staff College Bramshill, and training in VVIP protection from the secret service.
