Ghana Navy feeds multitudes
As part of showing love to the less privileged in society, the Ghana Navy has distributed packed food to over 1000 head porters (Kayayee) and hawkers in the capital, Accra.
The Navy together with the wives of the Naval officers association also shared food, stationery, cooking oil, diapers, and tissue to the children’s ward at the 37 military Hospital.
The Director of Religious Affairs of the Ghana Navy, Lt Cdr David Benedict Quayson on of the Chief of the Naval Staff, said Christmas is the time of the year when love is expressed to the weak, vulnerable, and the less privileged in the society.
He used the occasion to urge the public to observe the Covid-19 protocols religiously.
