The Ga Mantse, Boni Nii Tackie Adama Latse II has called on his subjects and all Ghanaians to celebrate the Christmas festivities in moderation, and in a peaceful manner, since the Covid-19 pandemic, which has created conditions that Ghana and the rest of the world are not in normal times, is still around.

Expanding on Covid-19, he said the world is experiencing the fourth wave of the pandemic, Omicron, which everybody must stay on guard to follow the laid down safety protocols judiciously to the core, in order to protect themselves, their families, community, and the nation at large.

The Ga Mantse said this during a brief meeting with the press in Accra yesterday.

On peace, the Ga Mantse indicated that development can be felt at the personal, community, and national levels when there is security, operationalization of the law, and equal access to justice.

He contended that peace reigns in environments where individual rights are protected and respected, and there is an equal opportunity for all to enjoy.

According to him, he has suffered so many injustices at the hand of the government but he continuously remains resolute for the Ga State and the people to emerge as one, and winner over the strives.

“On behalf of the Dzase and my own behalf, I wish all Ga Mei and Ghanaian (both in Ghana and the Diaspora)a Merry Christmas and Prosperous New Year in advance,” he added.
