Information flying around suggests that Madam Cecilia Abena Dapaah house help has stolen money and jewelry running to US$4 million.

The suspect conspired with her boyfriend to steal from the New Patriotic Party member and a former Member of Parliament for the Bantama constituency.

The suspect and her boyfriend used duplicated key to gain access to the former minister’s bedroom.

The maid used part of the money to purchase landed properties but all is said to have been seized from her.

She was arrested and granted police enquiry bail with her father stood surety for her.

Interestingly, maid after been granted went into hiding somewhere in the northern part of the country.

The Ghana Police Service has smoked the suspect from her hideout and currently in their custody.

Hopefully, the suspect will be put before court this week.
