Born again fetish priestess Nana Agradaa but known in private life as Patricia Asiedu yesterday pulled a surprise card at police prosecuting her case at an Accra Circuit Court trying her for various offences.

The now Prophetess Patricia Asiedu told the court presided over by Mr Emmanuel Essandoh that she has already paid all outstanding charges owing to the National Communication Authority (NCA) as well as made some two years advance payment for Thunder television.

This information came at a big surprise to the prosecutor, Detective Inspector Frederick Sarpong who was not informed by the NCA about the said payment.

Nonetheless, the court has ordered the prosecution to make enclosures by May 24, 2021.

Prophetess Patricia is facing two counts on Charlatan advertisement, namely provision of electronic service without license, contrary to section 73(1c) of the Electronic Communications Act 2008 (Act 775) as well as section 137 for Criminal offences Act 1960 (Act 29).

Equally, she will also be answerable to section 100 of the Electronic transaction Act 2002 (Act 772).
