‘Big Bank,’ an expression used by the Assistant Commission of Police (ACP) Dr, Benjamin Agordzo in a WhatsApp chat with an alleged orchestrator of a coup plot, Dr. Fredrick MacPalm, had been interpreted to be understood as a major change.

Dr. MacPalm while being crossed-examined said: “Over and over, I repeatedly said we never discussed overthrow or coup d’etat with anybody. Big bang, as far as, my knowledge would serve me, is a phrase and is associated with major changes in any environment at any particular time. And of course one of the objectives of TAG is to cause a change in a corrupt system as w knew it, and I would like to say that TAG had the intention of demonstrating our displeasure until we see some change,..so if ACP used the phrase big bang, I personally didn’t at that time or even now read coup d’etat into it.”
